CorLa is a natural wellness and beauty brand inspired by Southeast Asian philosophy, offering plant-based products like essential oils that encourage people to restore their bodies, center their minds, and bloom into their fullest selves.

Guided by the tagline “Restore. Center. Bloom.”, I designed a calm yet empowering visual identity that reflects the brand’s essence. The logo suite includes a primary logo with the tagline, a secondary logo without it, and an icon inspired by the Unalome symbol, which represents the spiritual path to enlightenment.

For typography, I chose Montserrat because of its clean, modern look and approachable feel. It complements CorLa’s serene aesthetic while ensuring clarity across all uses.

The color palette is rich with meaning and deeply connected to the brand’s roots. Bodhi Leaf, a deep green, reflects peace and growth, inspired by the sacred tree where Buddha found enlightenment. Sprout, a bright green, adds vitality and renewal. Lotus Blossom, a vibrant coral pink, honors the sacred lotus, symbolizing spiritual beauty and resilience. And Lotus Blush, a soft pale pink, brings warmth and introspection.

I also created a custom pattern based on the “zen circle,” or Ensō, to evoke presence, openness, and the beauty of imperfection.

CorLa’s photography combines lifestyle, nature, commercial, and product shots to reflect the brand’s calm yet empowering feel. Images use moody, neutral tones with pops of bright color and light. Brand colors and textures are woven into compositions and edits for a cohesive look, while natural elements add warmth and balance.

To bring the brand to life, I designed a cohesive set of applications, including an essential oil bottle, candle, yoga mat, shopping bag, tags, a subscription shipping box, and a website—each crafted to support a serene, intentional customer experience.

Together, these thoughtfully designed elements create a brand experience that honors ancient traditions while welcoming modern audiences into moments of mindful ritual.
